Per­ma­nent Exten­si­ons oder Dau­er­ne­ben­stel­len sind Neben­stel­len die fest mit einem Account ver­knüpft sind. Vor einem Event wird an die E‑Mail Adres­se des zuge­hö­ri­gen Accounts ein Cla­im-Token ver­sen­det, mit dem die Num­mer auf dem Event genutzt wer­den kann. Per­ma­nent Exten­si­ons fal­len also nach einem Event nicht zurück in den frei ver­füg­ba­ren Pool.

Aller­dings füh­ren Per­ma­nent Exten­si­ons immer wie­der zu Ver­wir­run­gen, Ver­stim­mun­gen, Bestechungs­ver­su­chen und unnö­ti­gem Sup­port­auf­kom­men. Wir haben nun kla­re Regeln geschaf­fen und machen die­se hier transparent.

Wann kann ich einen Antrag auf eine Permanent Extension stellen?

    1. Du hast drei Kon­gres­se und / oder Camps in Fol­ge oder auf 6 Ver­an­stal­tun­gen inner­halb von drei Jah­ren eine bestimm­te Neben­stel­le genutzt und dies ist in dei­nem Account dokumentiert.
    2. Du hast in Dei­nem Account eine E‑Mail Adres­se hin­ter­legt, die funk­tio­niert und Du hast Zugriff darauf.
    3. Son­der­fäl­le sind mög­lich z. B. für zweck­ge­bun­de­ne Neben­stel­len wie den Him­mel oder den Info­desk.  Die­se haben dann z.B. kein Ver­falls­da­tum und wer­den erstellt, wenn sie benö­tigt wer­den und gelöscht wenn sie nicht mehr benö­tigt werden.
    4. Nur maxi­mal eine per­sön­li­che Dau­er-Neben­stel­le pro User (Aus­nah­men gibt es, z. B. Admins von Funktionsnebenstellen).
    5. Du hast das Prin­zip: “Be excel­lent to each other.” und die Hacker­ethik ver­stan­den und han­delst ent­spre­chend. Wie kann ich eine Permanent Extension beantragen?

Wenn Du die oben genann­ten Punk­te erfüllst, schrei­be uns eine E‑Mail an poc ‘at’ event­phone PUNKT de mit dem Betreff: Per­ma­nent Exten­si­on ($EXTENSION), Dei­nem Benut­zer­na­men, der hin­ter­leg­ten E‑Mail Adres­se und der gewünsch­ten Nebenstelle.

Wann verliere ich meine Permanent Extension?

    • Wenn du dei­ne Neben­stel­le 2 Jah­re lang nicht genutzt hast. (Dau­er­ne­ben­stel­len müs­sen für DECT oder GSM benutzt wer­den und gel­ten nur als benutzt, wenn auf dem Event auch ein DECT/GSM Gerät mit die­ser Neben­stel­le ein­ge­bucht war. Wenn du dei­ne Dau­er­ne­ben­stel­le per SIP ver­wen­dest, was auch von woan­ders aus gin­ge, musst Du ein­mal beim POC vor­bei­kom­men. Wir doku­men­tie­ren dann die Nut­zung auf dem Event in einem Ticket zur Dauernebenstelle) 
    • Wenn du in dei­nem Account eine E‑Mail Adres­se hin­ter­legt hast, die nicht funktioniert.
    • Wenn du gegen das Prin­zip: “Be excel­lent to each other.” oder die Hacker­ethik ver­sto­ßen hast.
    • Wenn du uns mit­teilst, dass du sie nicht mehr haben möchtest.

Wann werden dreistellige (Permanent) Extensions vergeben?

Bis auf Son­der­ruf­num­mern wie 110, 112 oder 117 wer­den aus­nahms­los kei­ne drei­stel­li­gen Neben­stel­len ver­ge­ben, weil die­se min­des­tens 10 ande­re Neben­stel­len kos­ten. Es gibt aus der Ver­gan­gen­heit drei­stel­li­ge Neben­stel­len die wir den Nut­zern nicht ein­fach weg­neh­men wol­len. Aber auch hier gilt: wenn die Neben­stel­le 2 Jah­re lang nicht genutzt wur­de, fällt sie zurück in den nutz­ba­ren Pool für 4 bzw. mehr­stel­li­ge Nebenstellen.

Per­ma­nent exten­si­ons are exten­si­ons that are per­ma­nent­ly lin­ked to an account. A Cla­im-Token will be sent to the e‑mail address of the cor­re­spon­ding account befo­re an event, with which the num­ber on the event can be used. Per­ma­nent exten­si­ons do not fall back into the free­ly available pool after an event, but they do cau­se con­fu­si­on, annoyan­ce, bri­be­ry and unneces­sa­ry sup­port. We have now crea­ted clear rules and make them transparent.

When can I apply for a permanent extension?

    1. You have used a cer­tain exten­si­on for three con­gres­ses and / or camps in a row or at 6 events within three years and this is docu­men­ted in your account.
    2. You have stored an e‑mail address in your account that works and you have access to it.
    3. Spe­cial cases are pos­si­ble e.g. for spe­cial pur­po­se exten­si­ons like hea­ven or info­desk.  The­se have e. g. no expi­ra­ti­on date and are crea­ted when they are nee­ded and dele­ted when they are no lon­ger needed.
    4. Only one per­so­nal exten­si­on per user (the­re are excep­ti­ons, e.g. admins of spe­cial pur­po­se extensions).
    5. You have unders­tood the prin­ci­ple: “Be excel­lent to each other.” and the hacker ethics and act accor­din­gly. How can I apply for a permanent extension?

If you ful­fill the abo­ve requi­re­ments, plea­se send us an email to poc ‘at’ event­phone PUNKT de with the sub­ject: Per­ma­nent Exten­si­on ($EXTENSION), your user­na­me, your email address and the desi­red extension.

When do I lose my permanent extension?

    • If you haven’t used your exten­si­on for 2 years. (Per­ma­nent exten­si­ons must be used for DECT or GSM and are only valid if a DECT/GSM device with this exten­si­on was regis­tered at the event. If you use your per­ma­nent exten­si­on via SIP, which would also work from some­whe­re else, you have to come by the POC once. We will then docu­ment the use on the event in a ticket to the per­ma­nent extension.)
    • If you have an email address in your account that does­n’t work
    • If you have vio­la­ted the prin­ci­ple: “Be excel­lent to each other” or the hacker ethic.
    • If you tell us that you don’t want it anymore.

When will three-digit (permanent) extensions be assigned?

Except for spe­cial tele­pho­ne num­bers such as 110, 112 or 117, no three-digit exten­si­ons are assi­gned wit­hout excep­ti­on, becau­se the­se cost at least 10 other exten­si­ons. In the past the­re were three-digit exten­si­ons which we do not want to take away from the users. But also here the rule is: if the exten­si­on has not been used for 2 years, it falls back into the usable pool for 4 or mul­ti-digit extensions.
